Portrait 1a - The Pianist'. Work by Tristan McGuire
This is a piece which uses algorithmic video mixing in Jitter combined with probabilistic sound generation in Max. The video mixing uses simple video analysis feedback to adjust settings and change blending modes. The sound generation uses Markov chains up to the fourth order. The portrait is of Elena Alekseeva - a talented pianist and composer and a good friend.
